One of the first questions you might ask, amongst all the other mind swirling real estate questions is, just who is Ian Corfield?
Well, let me tell you a little about myself. I grew up in a small town in the North East of England; Durham to be exact, coal mining and ship building country. Well, it was back then in the 70’s and early 80’s!
I joined the British Army at the tender age of 16 for 7 years and a further 3 in the Airborne reserves. Another 7 years spent as a British police officer working mainly in central London rounded out my career in uniforms.
How did I get here you may ask? Well, during my period with the Parachute Regiment reserves I trained extensively with American Airborne forces in Ft Bragg NC. Looking eventually for a change of pace and direction in my life I moved to the U.S in April of 97.
I found Real Estate by way of a local new home builder who to this day are still very successful in the Charlotte market.
April 2001, I teamed up with Scott Wilkinson and joined Wilkinson And Associates Real Estate firm. During that period of time to the present I have been heavily involved in helping market and grow the company to where it is today all the while helping my clients find their ideal homes in a wide range of settings and price points.
Today after 8 years of service I am one of two Brokers-In-Charge of a company with over 800 agents! My daily duties involve helping many of our agents solve real estate problems and answering many varied questions, our agents certainly know how to keep me and my counterpart on our toes in an ever evolving market place!
Today our company is the second largest real estate company in Charlotte and believe me, that didn’t happen by accident! We have strong moral values as a company and strive to create a safe and rewarding environment for all of our agents and clients.
