The Eastover neighborhood was established in 1927 by E.C. Griffith Company. Its curving drives were the work of Earle Sumner Draper, one of the most sought after urban planners. Eastover has been the home of many financiers, cotton brokers, attorneys and other leaders whom have assisted with the growth of Charlotte and the surrounding area.
Eastover is located southeast of the city and consist of large single family residences. The neighborhood itself is made up of 550 homes and retains it’s well-kept residential charm. The early architecture of Eastover is red-brick Georgian with a little flair of Tudor Revival. New blocks of homes are lined with substantial Ranch style homes and one and a half traditional residences.
